When Asked About Herself: Here is Professor Morrill's Reply.
Dear Dr Gurr
I teach English Composition at Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara, CA. (although if the students like me or not - this I cannot say! But I can tell you they sure know how to communicate clearly on the page when they leave me! ha!) I'm also a graduate student in English Literature in the graduate program at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles (to which I commute to take my classes). I am on FB mostly for my student volunteer group, THE BEACH ANGELS SANTA BARBARA which includes college students from every school in the area. Each week, Sundays at low tide, we meet for an hour to clean the beach of dangerous man-made debris under Stearns Wharf. We collect the data for reports used by NOAA, the California Coastal Commission and the City. Over the past 3.5 years we have removed over 4 Tons Of Trash, and Rescued 3 Pelicans, 12 Seagulls, 1 Commorant, 1 Grebe and a Puppy. Ha!
