My son, David Gurr, says that my ideas, are not a whole lot better than “Magic Happens Here”. Although this is meant to be a very negative critique of what I am working on, I finally realized: Yes that’s true for what I am doing. But that’s alright,’ because that is what is happening in many famous and important theories!!
In view of this, we are forced to ask: ‘‘‘1) What is at the rock bottom of this?’‘‘ Properly viewed, a good theory, is a useful pile of word and or image-based models, some of which are converted to equations, which are at rock bottom, mere poetic metaphors!! In point of fact, Metaphoric Thinking (and non-verbal visualizations), were integral to the original theorist’s thinking, as he created his/her theory: And then, to gain his theories (original) acceptance proceeded to communicate its ideas, to other persons, again using Metaphor. . However, some of these theories have been so totally accepted for so very long, that their metaphoric base, very evident at the time of the theory’s creation & actually required for theory idea communication, are forgotten, and the words (once metaphors) are taken as real. Hence the term, “frozen or dead metaphors” ((See more on Metaphor below.) ‘‘‘2) What IS IT that leads people to believe in and use (good) theories?’‘‘ These theories, or models by what-ever name, demonstrably organize factual proven data, into a clear & accurate mental picture: Naturally any good theory must “Fit & Explain The Facts”, both past and future. And must do so in a way, that any onlooker, will be amazed, and thus pushed toward acceptance and eventual adoption. ‘‘‘3) What IS IT that most (and perhaps all) good theories do for us?’’''' A theory to be ‘=”good” must be so organized, that our problem solving brain, can more readily use the theory as a tool in order to: a) Perceive “

Although a whole lot more could (and has been) be said, my position (& justification) is as stated above: But for sake of summary, here it is re-phrased => '''MY ABOVE ABSTRACT & ABOVE IDEAS HAVE IN THEM, VERY USEFUL & REVEALING PROPOSITIONS. There Are Important Extensions Of The Above, Into Such Areas As: MEMORY & PERCEPTION. These Are Usefully Viewed As Direct Consequences Of Our **AHA** Eureka Type Discovery Problem Solving Brain, And Likewise Depends On Our Brain’s Massive Memory And Upon Wide-Spread Connectivity Through-Out The Brain.
… ((SIDE NOTE: As is true for practically any facet of living creatures, their observed characteristics and modes of operation, are there for a purpose, namely survival & reproduction. Although not explicitly stated, we must assume this applies throughout this document. Most especially this applies to the Problem Solving Brain, and likewise, depends on our brain’s massive memory and its dependence upon wide-spread connectivity through-out the brain.)) A) The Following Are Of Especial Importance As Additional Abilities, Of The “Problem Solving Brain” => a) In order to create our normal ongoing, second by second, perception of the world around us, our brain is automatically spontaneously generating constructing creating a general mental model of the world around us. And a second by second, stored in brain memory trace is created, of both the perceptions and the resulting general mental model.
b) Then to “construct” the next new perception of the world around us, our Problem Solving Brain compares the ongoing perception of the world around us, with the perceptions in “stored-memory-trace-content”, and from this constructs the next new, second by second, general mental model of the world around us. This continues all awake moments of our life.
c) In summary => Stored “memory traces, of everything we see, is the very “thing”, that is turned around and used for decoding (second by second), our next new perception, and , general mental model of the world around us. And simultaneously our brain is is storing all these “things” away, for our future memory.to remember, and use to generating constructing creating our on-going “perceptions & thinking:
d) From this, in agreement with memory research literature, we understand that when we “have” conscious “Memories of Things Past” (to quote Michael Proust), these are being constructed, (assembled) from bits and pieces, that our mind has remembered, per a) thru d), above. These are “creative jumps” similar to “Barrier Penetrations / AHA’s!! ((And as a nice example, you will notice how I paraphrased Michael Proust, which (in actual fact) “popped to life, as I wrote the previous sentence!!))
e) This viewpoint or understanding of how our mind works, as per a) thru d) above, is. Called “Radical Constructivism”. The idea that this “Constructing” is conducted by a Hopfield Neuronal Network, I have dubbed “Radical, Radical, Constructivism”.

B) ONE THING REMINDS US OF ANOTHER, is a handy way to describe what is called an Associative Memory: This Type of Memory is an important extensions of the above, is usefully viewed as direct consequences of our **AHA** Eureka type discovery problem solving brain, and likewise depends on our brain’s massive memory and upon wide-spread connectivity through-out the brain. 1) There Are Many Arenas On Human Mental Processes Where (Because Of Our “Associative Memory”), A Small Bit Of Information, Brings Back A Whole Lot More …. In Successive Creative Leaps. …. Here Are Some Examples =>
C) We All Use Mental Abilities Such a Metaphor, Analogy, Simile, and a Host of Similar Abilities: Besides Being Effective Method For Communication. But Had You Noticed That IN These “Abilities” => A Small Bit Of Information, Our Mind Connects To Other ~Similar Qualities. The Wikipedia Article Give An Example Of This By Saying => “Refers To One Thing By Mentioning Another”. 1) Wikipedia Gives This Excellent Summary =>

As we saw under the first objection, the ability to pursue “intentionally inexistent” states of affairs is essential to intentionality, but Minimalist Mother Nature never does this.” ….
