…….It was on Aug 6, 2018, when Film Producer Dennis Davis & I were on Campus for his Video Filming for his “Pirsig’s Journey Documentary” . Mr. Davis had just finished, and we temporarily stored our equipment right beside these “Inside there are more stairs, worn and wooden", while we went further upstairs to find out more about where Sarah Vinke & Robert Pirsig had their Offices and Classrooms, in Montana Hall.
….Also, while In Montana Hall, I had wanted to give a courtesy visit to a MSC Lady Staff Member in the University Research Office. We of course asked her about Locations of Vinke & Pirsig Offices.
….Serendipity Strikes! => She gave us paper copies (with photos) of an email from Mr. Robert Pirsig himself giving the exact locations. (See Next Photos).
….Mission accomplished => We went back to the “Inside there are more stairs, worn and wooden", for our equipment, thus solidifying their existence into my memory ever since !!

….All assembled. worthy evidence for the location of Robert Pirsig’s Montana Hall office fits the /\ Above /\ Floor Plan: Where this plan shows that the “miserable cramped window” is on the North side of Montana Hall, which looks over Bozeman and Gallatin Valley, in which directions, only un-remarkable distant mountains Northwest and North. And the mountains visible to the Northeast are The Bridger Mountains, and continuing South are The Gallatin Mountains, where was mentioned in a Previous Photo => “The ‘Crack In The Mountains’ is where Bozeman Pass & I-90 Go Between.”

…. ….The Madison Range, and Spanish Peaks are indeed visible (depending on growth of trees) to the Southwest from Classroom Windows on South side of Montana Hall: This may have been on Pirsig’s mind in the writing process, and became one of few places where Author Robert Pirsig is factually wrong. Since from this window there can be seen only un-remarkable distant mountains, Northwest and North of Montana Hall.

A Peek Out This Third Floor Fire Escape Door Reveals the Narrator’s Madison Mountain Range in the Distance To The Southwest.

…. Due to Building Renovations ~1978, most of the building's rooms have been entirely changed. Thus it not easy to recognize where the Old Professor’s Offices or Classrooms may have been.

Saturday, July 13, 2024: …With Iconic Montana Hall In The Background, Lee Glover Is Happy To Show Off His Vintage Honda CB77 Super Hawk, Which Is The Same Model As Robert Pirsig’s Cycle.

…Lee has his own trailer for transport, and brought his cycle from his home in Boise, ID. Later, Lee’s bike joins the others in front of Montana State University Library, as seen in the NEXT photo.

…Lee purchased this cycle back in ~1998, so he could make his Video Documentary, a Video which was shown as one of the Main Events of the 2012 MSU Robert Pirsig Chautauqua Conference.
