This Is A Scan Of The Inside Leaf Of “Dust Cover”, from A Grinnell College Centennial Celebration Book => Grinnell College in the Nineteenth Century, by Professor Joseph Frazier Wall When Grinnell Archivist Chris Jones, showed me this ~2.5 x 9 inch slip of paper, I (Henry S Gurr), asked him to send me a scan, because it was a good & compact history of Grinnell. … ONLY much later => After I Googled for more information about who was Prof Wall, did I realize this was a whole history book! ANd one of the Google Results lead to Amizon.com which had a photo of the cover of this book, shown in next photo, along with a much longer, good & compact history of Grinnell (also next photo), only part of which appears in image above.. ATTENTION: As is strongly stated by Charles Noble, in previous photo, Iowa Collage ( later named Grinnell College), from its earliest days ”Was a story about organized religion and religious values!” … You will see this statement In a) above photo, and b) the next phot (with other similarstatements: AND c) There is absolutely no doubt this was a major continuing characteristic (perhaps dominating), that continued at Grinnell College to well after our Sarah was at school there!!
