Grinnell Iowa: Grinnell College Photo Views & Picturs Found At Grinnell Archives.

This Typewriter Document Was Originally Composed By Charles Noble: It Is ~A Memoir, About The Earliest Days, Or Iowa College, The First Name of the college where Sarah Vinke Went to Undergraduate School, Lived For Four Years, and From Which Sarah Received her Bachelor's Degree, With Major in Latin and English, from in 1914.

Based on the evident facts, that both George A. Gates & Charles Noble, were in early career (~age 30), and Iowa College (Renamed Grinnell College), was formed in 1846, we can surmise that the original composition of this “Memoir”, was hand written about 1870’s. This being before the days of typewriters with Courier Font (~1930 to 1960), the Document Picture above, must have been typed, in this range of years.

This is a scan of a document provided by Chris Jones during my research visit to Grinnell College.
