…The Road Beyond Beach Is OLD Rt-1 From Caspar, CA. Which Chris & The Narrator Drove Along To Reach The “Climbing The Grade To The Base Of the Street Address Sign”, Mentioned In Previous Photo. This Eventually Brought Chris & The Narrator To This High Pont Edge.

Thus, the ZMM Reader should come to attention when seeing the Narrator’s seeming useless words in the TOP passage above, full paragraph with => “ … but now is surrounded by banks of fog. … For a moment I see a distant break in the fog where some people rest in the sand, but soon the fog rolls in and the people are obscured. ”
…We need to wonder the Meaning(s), Symbolism(s), and Metaphoric Bridge Connection(s) to other Narrator passages, of practically every word in this passage! And we can be sure they are important!

…A) What is symbolized by “the fog”, and “brief openings”. We as readers hope new possibilities may “open up”, but right away these possibilities may be “obscured”…. AND/OR
…. B) Are these seeming unimportant words really an early Metaphorical Telegraph of important upcoming events, that soon will play out in upcoming ZMM passages, concerning Author Robert Pirsig’s “Climax Scene” ?
