LoLo, MT. ….Here The ZMM Route Again Takes Up “Good Old” U.S. Rt-12 West, And Then Southwest , Eventually Arriving At Lolo Hot Springs Cafe, Several Miles Prior To The Top Of Lolo Pass*,
….The Change From “Dirt Road” To “Pavement” Seems To Follow the Ongoing March Of Time!

Lolo, MT. If you look at a USA Map, or better yet study US-12 On Wikipedia, Click Here, you will see that it is a Venerable Institution, that runs ~2500 miles from Detroit, Michigan, to Aberdeen, KS, & then on to Seattle, Washington. As has been discussed on many ZMMQ Gallery Photos, The ZMM Route, in various places, covers probably over 600 miles on US-12. This includes => Starting just East of Mobridge, SD and continuing through Miles City, Mt, and ending at Forsyth, Mt. Then the ZMM Route rejoins US-12, at Avon MT, travels with I-90 thru Missoula, and leaves I-90 to travel South with US-93 to this Sign Location, and continue as described above.
….The /\ Above /\ Photo is where Rt 12 (and ZMM Route),are just around the corner from where it leaves US-93, will now go Up-Up-Twisty-Windy West, and then Southwest, to Lolo Pass, and there cross the border from Montana into Idaho.
