Friday, July 26, 2024: … Minus Low Lying Fog, A Beautiful Flowering Tree At A Santa Cruse Bus Stop, in Front Of Safeway Grocery Store, In Rancho Del Mar Shopping Center, 16 Rancho Del Mar, Aptos, CA.
The Safeway Grocery Store, Is Now About 500 Feet Away.
…Here, Henry found what must have been Santa Cruz Sourdough Bread, in a bag that said made in Santa Cruse. Henry does not clearly remember, but it may have been called "Alfaro's Santa Cruz Sourdough".
…Henry also purchased loaves several other brands of Sourdough Bread, also on the same shelf. And, as we continued our travel, Henry, David Matos enjoyed all of these purchased brands.
…Surprisingly, the 4 of these purchased loaves, were still good, after Henry got to his South Carolina home, about 8 days later. …. And, both Henry and his son David, agreed, the Trader Joe's version was the best for Sourdough Flavor, albeit NOT what we had hoped for, or anywhere close to our well remembered expectation. :-((
…Unfortunately => The really wonderful, well remembered taste, of what we considered, REAL San Francisco Sourdough Bread, just was not there, in any of the Breads purchased. . . :-(( :-((
