AT TOP: This envelope attests that Mr Larry Reed’s father Ray Reed, received copy of the deed to Sarah’s old farm, showing completion of the installment purchase, from Sarah and sister Katherine, in 1975.
FOR CONVENIENCE, the Black & White Photograph below, was Scanned at the same time as the Envelope above. They have no important relationship, other than Mr Larry Reed has both in his files.
AT BOTTOM: This is a view of the farm house that Sarah lived in as a child. The next gallery photo shows that on the back of this Black & White Photograph is hand written “1940 (approximately) Ray’s house before remodeled.”
We are looking at the South side of the house, illuminated by a mid-afternoon sun, in early winter as indicated by the tree leaves and mostly gone. Mr Larry Reed, current owner of Sarah’s parents old farm, said none of these trees have survived to the present. Also gone upon his arrival in 1955, was the Summer Kitchen, the building that is seen attached to the East wall of the house, and projecting to the right. Continued from previous photo: A discussion of the old farm house that Sarah lived in as a child.
This is the SAME ~1940 Black & White Photograph you saw previously, put here so you can look closely and can see, left to right:
1) In the left foreground, possibly a horse hitching rail, behind which is
2) A dark cylinder, supported by a ?chain?, from a horizontal bar between two support pillars with Y-Cuts at top. This could be access to a cistern or a hand dug well.
3) Two roof chimneys, at each end of the house, each likely for fireplaces on both lower and upper floors, and a big interior wall chimney, which marks the lower floor house kitchen, and thus the rear of the house.
4) There is a large screened-in rear porch, with a woman in white dress behind the screen door.
5) Looking closely at the roof lines, it is seen that the Summer Kitchen covers half of the lower east wall of the house:
6) Seen to right of the porch screens, is a door and window for the Summer Kitchen ,
7) as also another big chimney,
8) and a roof gutter drain leading to puzzling tall white objects seemingly at the Northern edge of the Summer Kitchen’s east wall. Are these rain barrels, or simply vertical pipes down to another cistern?
9) In the right foreground, by the big tree, possibly a carpenter’s saw horse.
back side of Black & White Photograph discussed in previous photo caption.

Continued from previous TWO photos, where the ONLY difference is we show the BACK SIDE, of the previously discussed Black & White Photograph:
As already stated, the above 1) Envelope and 2) the Black & White Photograph; were scanned at the same time. They have no important relationship, other than Mr Larry Reed has both in his files.

Summer Time Aerial Views From A Quadcopter Flight Over Sarah’s Old Dallas Center IA Farm:

Above Is The First Of Three Aerial Still Photos Taken By a Camera Carrying Quadcopter:
Mr Larry Reed copied to me five Video Movies taken by the Camera of a Quadcopter: Based on the saved computer files, the movies were apparently taken late afternoon of 28 June 2015. Mr Reed also included 7 Still Photos, which were Single Frames extracted from the Videos. Above and next two photos show the most meaningful. Please click to see the next photo, which has a brief Wikipedia explanation of Quadcopters.

Summer Time Aerial View From a 29 June 2015Quadcopter Flight Over Sarah’s Old Dallas Center IA Farm:
Seen at center is, a aerial view of Sarah’s Old Farmstead, looks today. Higher up, you can see the Northern Border of Sarah’s Old Farm, and the neighboring farms further North. The curved horizon is because of the Fish-Eye Lens of the camera.
A quadcopter, also called a quadrotor helicopter or quadrotor, is a multirotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors. Quadcopters are classified as rotorcraft, as opposed to fixed-wing aircraft, because their lift is generated by a set of rotors (vertically oriented propellers). ….
The largest use of quadcopters in the USA has been in the field of aerial imagery.

Summer Time Aerial View From a 29 June 2015Quadcopter Flight Over Sarah’s Old Dallas Center IA Farm:
Seen at center is, a near straight-down aerial view of how Sarah’s Old Farmstead, looks today. Higher up, you can see the fields with shallow ponds of standing water, further North. Evidently there had previously been an overabundance of rain!
