These “Old Timey” Ceramic Tile Cattle Feed Silos Caught My Attention … Just Neat in the clear morning winter air!!
I’m ~30 miles North of Indianapolis IN, on my cousin Joe Willhite’s place (Son of my Grad Dad's youngest daughter). He in on about 33 acres of what was a much larger dairy farm. He says this was, at one time, one of the foremost Dairy Herds in all on Indiana. Evidence of two lines of dairy cow milking stations, and feeding trough, still mark the concrete pad in the foreground. This was the former floor of the barn that held the whole operation, and conveniently close to the silos, for ease of moving the stored silage to the cows” YUM!!
