This Looks Like It Might Be => A Very Early Photo Of The Original Rough & Ready Lochsa Lodge, Built 1928 By Swedish Immigrant Andrew Erickson As A Hunting And Trapping Retreat.,Erikson Was Formerly A Fur Trapper And Hunting Guide Who Emigrated To The United States From Sweden
… At least, This “Very Early Photo” Conclusion Is Suggested By The Late 1920’s Automobile, Which Does Not Look Like Purposely Put There To Fake A Different Date.
… In an email, Matthew Hohenstreet, who has owned the New Rebuilt Lochsa Lodge now for 5 years says =>
“The /\above/\ photo with the covered deck, is the back of the lodge, facing South. This is the original old lodge that burned down.”
NOTE: Although it looks like the Automobile is under the lodge overhang, look closely to see that it is between the building-end-post and the tree.
