Back In 1968, The Restaurant Here At Lolo Hot Springs, Must Have Been Where Chris & The ZMM Narrator Stopped For Their Evening Dinner. …. And The /\Above/\ Panorama Photo Shows Approximately What The ZMM Narrator & Chris Would Have Seen.
…Saturday, July 20, 2024: …… Leaving Lolo Creek Campground In Western MT, And After Traveling US-12 For 10 Miles, We Are Surprised To Suddenly See, The-Lolo Hot Springs Resort & Restaurant.
…David & Henry Were Hoping To Have Breakfast Here, But No Luck Due To A Electrical Power Failure. The Employees Used This Otherwise Down-Time, For A Staff Meeting, Held On Their Front Deck, As You Can See.
The ZMM Narrator says =>
… “At Lolo Pass. we see a restaurant, and pull up in front of it beside an old Harley high-miler. It has a homemade pannier on the back and thirty-six thousand on the odometer. A real cross-country man.
.. .. Inside we fill up on pizza and milk, and when finished leave right away. There’s not much sunlight left, and a search for a campsite after dark is difficult and unpleasant.“
Looking At The Above Panorama Photo Of The Lolo Hot Springs Resort, You See =>
..A) The Huge And Grand Modern Lodge Is At Left.
..B) The Building Of Above A) Has The Boulder Room Restaurant. ….
..C) Next To The Right, With Green Roofed Porch, Is A General Store.

..E) Next To The Right, The Visitor would see A Wire Fence Around The Hot Springs Swimming Pool.
NOTE1: About a mile NW of the Swimming Pool, Is The Original Historical Location Of The Hot Springs, Coming Out Of A Granite Boulder Covered Ridge. But the spring itself, can not be seen, because, to keep out fallen leaves, the Original Hot Springs, are now covered by concrete and not visible.
NOTE Way back in history, these Hot Springs were seen & used & surely enjoyed by Native Americans and Lewis & Clark, and Subsequent Generations.
