Part III: The Illustrated "Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" Chapters 16 thru 26.

Along A Side Road: Looking Southwest: Two Homes & St. Michaels Church.

…. “ We find a churchyard by the side of the road and stop. The wind is blowing hard now and is chilly, but the sun is warm and we lay out our jackets and helmets on the grass on the leeward side of the church for a rest. It’s very lonely and open here, but beautiful. When you have mountains in the distance or even hills, you have space. Chris turns his face into his jacket and tries to sleep.
.... Everything is so different now without the Sutherlands -- so lonely. If you’ll excuse me I’ll just talk Chautauqua now, until the loneliness goes away.
.... To solve the problem of what is mathematical truth, Poincare’ said, we should first ask ourselves what is the nature of geometric axioms. …

On Side Road, Which Leads West Out Of Town, ~800 Feet West Of Rt-1, Which Is The Main North-South Highway Through The Center of Hall, MT.

….The /\ Above /\ Photo of St Michaels Church (Compared to the later seen, Hall United Methodist Church), offers the best choice, quieter place, for the Narrator & Chris to rest. This is because St Michaels Church, being on a side road AND located ~800 ft from a Stop Sign, would greatly slow down local traffic speed, and also have far less traffic than Rt-1.
….Plus, the back side of this church (away from this Side Road), would shield from prevailing wind, and facing South, would have nice, warm, midday sun.
….Moreover, as seen on TopoZone Map, the view from the back side of this church would include a view of low mountains, a bit South of West.
