Downtown Business District Red Lodge, MT. As we look at these photos of Red Lodge and Forthcoming of The Beartooth Highway, we should remember that neither the ZMM Narrator nor Author Robert Pirsig have much use for what we ordinary mortals would call “Tourist Attractions”, even if they are full of "Real World Experiences” or “Natural Scenery”.
….We see this later in ZMM where emerge The ZMM Narrator’s negative comments Re Yellowstone National Park and Crater Lake National Park,.
…. It is also evident for similar reasons that => The ZMM Narrator completely bypasses and never mentions many, many, quite interesting places, all of them quite close to the ZMM travel route!!

…. Actual Examples Of This "Negativity" To Tourist Attractions, Are Mention In Forthcoming Photos, Which Are These =>
….1) Narrator's glum (almost negative) statement re his own Beartooth Highway Tourist Photos => “At a turnout on the road we stop, take some record photographs to show we have been here”. This in on a Forthcoming Photo of the first rest area of Beartooth Highway.
….2) “The “Drive-Through” Hole In Redwood Tree” in Leggett CA, and
….3) The touring the ZMM Route through several "Fantastic Giant Redwoods Forests" in Northern CA, near Pacific Ocean.
….These, and many other places, you will see examples of the Narrator's treatment, which is usually to ignore these attractions, with nary a hint of their presence!
