Typical Scenery In a Red Wood Forested Mountainous Area Along Rt 101:
““
Near Phillipsville, CA. H ere we are somewhat inland from the ocean, so it is sunny and warmer. But this is still close enough to the Pacific Ocean , for fog and mist and rain from the (relatively cold ocean) to grow these forests, especially giant redwoods. There are so many that this is called the Redwood Highway. I had wanted to get breakfast in Weott CA, several miles back as did the Narrator and Chris, but found it closed. My extended ZMM Research there, combined with no food, and the driving to here on an empty stomach, as resulted in the beginnings of a headache. So I stopped here to rest and get breakfast. This particular stopping place was chosen because I could use the “uphill” to help stop the car with minimal use of the brakes and “make use” of the energy already invested in my moving car (Quality) AND here was a relatively wide somewhat level safe place to get off the pavement (Quality), AND the stern speed limit warning sign seen in the photo, unconsciously, may have been “material” in this exact stopping spot, since it realized a nice panorama of the forests & view (Quality). The food and coffee, as always, helped relieve the headache. Now as I was feeling better (Quality), and getting ready to go, I realized this was as good a spot as any (Quality) for a panorama! I suddenly saw that speed warning sign could provide contemplation, for you (Quality). Later my notes say “OH WOW” at the new vistas seen, as I traveled on down the road!!
