…. From Tina DeWeese We Learn That Robert Pirsig, Along With The DeWeese Family, Likely Climbed This SAME TRAIL, June 1990.

….A Facebook Comment: Below a Photo Of Gennie & Bob DeWeese, this .Facebook.com Comment Appeared => Tina DeWeese: A little correction here...it was Bob Pirsig who took this photo...when he joined us for a hike to Fox Creek Meadow for the Summer Solstice picnic after congress allocated 2 mil $ for the purchase of 2 sections of land previously owned by Plum Creek Timber. The purchase consolidated this land with NFS, keeping Cottonwood pristine...as it is still today (relatively). Pirsig's timing for a visit was impeccable, although he was here to catch up with old friends.☯️

…. Concerning the above [[Facebook]] photo of Gennie DeWeese (holding yellow flower called an Alpine Lily) with husband Bob DeWeese .... , Be sure to notice that this photo was taken by ZMM Author Robert Pirsig when he was in Bozeman June 1990, with his wife Wendy [and Daughter Nell.]. Tina DeWeese says that you can tell this photo was way up in mountains, because you can see the Lodge Pole Pines in background.

A 12 March 2020 Email From Tina DeWeese, Gives Following History:

…Hi, Tina,
We enjoyed seeing the website, and I was thrilled at the Home Page photo becaus I [Robert] took it! We have it in our photo album and always liked it very much. It was when we visited with our daughter in June 1990.
