….Although I (Henry Gurr), don’t remember it, I must have gone back to further talk to Larry Reed, since my paper research notes, written at the end time of first days Library Research, merely say => “Miles from Dallas Center Library to Sarah’s Farmhouse Prius 2.3 Miles.”
Thus Ends A Perfect Day, And A Perfect FIRST Superb Day Of Field Research Into Sarah Jennings Vinke's Life & Times In Iowa!

High Points of This FIRST Day’s Sarah Jennings Vinke Dallas County Field Research.
….Ms Lorna, with help of Court House data, found the location of the Farm where Sarah Jennings grew up. There we met Larry Reed, who some 50 years ago, had helped his father run this farm for Sarah and her Sister Katherine, then joint owners by inheritance, from Sarah’s Mother upon death in 1942. He gave Henry Gurr Xerox copies of Sarah related paper work having to do with farm rental purchase, and some old and current photos of farm and house. It is just great to have all this information, the most important part being, yet another clear paper documented, tangible physical proof, with Sarah’s own signature, that => We have found the correct farm!!
….Of course Henry took many photos of how the house, farm buildings, and surrounding land look now.
