Scenes Along The Travel Route of Book => Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. => This Is A PHOTO-REPORT (5 of 5)

Illustrating Henry Gurr’s Return Home From Montana AFTER his “Book Signing Tour” & "Big Trip West.

ContFmPreviousPhoto => A NOT SO PERFECT PANORAMA VIEW Of => The Town of McIntosh, SD, And A Field Of Yellow Blooming Sunflowers.

As Robert Pirsig says in ZMM => "At one stretch in the long desolate road we see an isolated grocery store. Inside, in back, we find a place to sit on some packing cases and drink canned beer.
The fatigue and backache are getting to me now. I push the packing case over to a post and lean on that."

….NOTE: The /\ Above /\ Panorama Photo Shows The SAME CAMERA PHOTOS (And SAME Physical Location), As Previous Hi Quality Panorama Photo, But “Stitched”. By Less Than Perfect Efforts of Henry Gurr, Using Available APP’s.

..AND the /\ Above /\ Photo Is Kept Here, So You may “See The Difference”.
….Which as you can see in the /\ Above /\, the Photographic Quality is somewhat acceptable, but The Less Than Perfect Stitching Of Henry Gurr, using combination of Microsoft Composite Editor AND AutoStitch. However the /\ Above /\ Stitch has distracting brightness variation, and if properly “cropped” tor straight top & bottom, too much picture would be lost. These difficulties were ultimately caused by Henry Gurr’s inadequate Panorama Photographing Technique. The Previous Panorama Photo Stitched & Edit Improved by FlatWorld.com is Far Better.

….As You Enjoy The Above Panorama’s North Dakota Landscape, Please Overlook, The Stitch Misfit.
..1) The /\ Above /\ Panorama opens looking East in direction of travel, US 12: At left you can see 4 Metal Cylinder Grain Stores with Conical Top. This type of Grain Storage is seen all over 21st Century North America.
..2) And Using “Click&Drag” Scroll Bars, to scroll the panorama right, you will see some of the trees & buildings of town, and then => A Big White Building on the South side of US 12, and the building has a sign, saying what is there. (Remembering to click photo several ties to get the biggest view, & possibly use Magnifying Glass), and looking close you can barely discern what looks like Corvoss? + Country OR County?. For an answer, type these puzzling words into Google, which discovers => Corson County Fairboard, McIntosh SD. Using this link’s Facebook Messaging Henry Gurr asked for the “Words On This Sign”: Several hours later Dawne Donner, who is the Corson County 4-H Program Manager as well as the Fair Board Secretary, replied with what was => OH WOW Better … A Photo!! Which WAS Subject of PREVIOUS Photo.
..3) Scrolling /\ Above /\ Panorama right you see The Fairboard’s Bleachers & Viewing Stands for their Ranch Rodeo .Grounds. This is identified by a bare dirt arena surrounded by electric lights on wooden polls.
..4) More scrolling you see US 12 to the West, and then in the distance, the Yellow Of A Whole Field of Sunflowers!
..5) Continued scrolling you see the Wheat Field North of US 12 ..7) And finally you see again the SAME Opening View, of US 12 East.

…This “This Google Street View (GSV) Scene Duplicates The Opening View Of /\ Above /\ Panorama, and Is good to see an alternate 360 deg Full Circle Panorama. AND this GSV offers you ability to “GSV drive” and see more North Central South Dakota Landscape “on down the road! You Could See For Example => A stretch of US 12, just as the ZMM Narrator drove this road, where was => "At one stretch in the long desolate road … .

ContNextPhoto => A PANORAMA VIEW Of => Missouri River The US 12 Bridge, & Big Building of A Gambling Casino On => “ “Reservation land” .”
