In a September 27, 2021 email concerning the back cover of ZMM, Lee Glover said,




…”I think this was an artist rendering based on John Sutherland’s photo. Perhaps that is why they thought no credit was needed. …. The mountains in the background, especially Emigrant Peak, are too accurate to be just a drawing. It was clearly based on a photo. Plus, John said he took the photo.”

Hence ZMMQuality's Henry Gurr encouraged Lee to return to the location, that he had previously filmed, to take more photos. to see if he could find better fits to the back cover of the Bantam edition of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. (ZMM).
