….In the /\ ABOVE /\ view, you see the Iconic U Wis Main Administration Building called “Bascom Hall. Students walking West from State Street Mall (Memorial Library, U Wis Bookstore, & Down Town City Parking Garage, are there), will cross Park Street (and as you see), climb the steps to access Tree Shaded Sidewalks, on both sides of the Grass Covered “Bascom Mall”: ….This “Mall” must date back to the mid 1800’s (and the founding of the University), as judged by the several Older Buildings on both sides: These will be seen in forthcoming photos. This grass covered “Bascom Mall”, being probably the oldest part of the campus, naturally became the campus center, as through years, the campus expanded. On the left, below the trees, you can see one of the Tree Shaded Sidewalks. \ Above /\ Strip Map!
