8:21 am Tuesday May 24, View Just Inside Front Door, Looking Back At Three Front Doors. Ground Floor Main Entrance, Bascom Hall, University of Wisconsin, Madison WI, 53706.
….To Left in View /\ Above /\, you can see door way to Receptionist Office, AND The LOWEST of Wooden Steps To The Second Floor, Shown in Nest THREE Photos.
….((SEE NEXT PHOTO, FOR HOW TO VIEW DARK PHOTOS.))
….The Very Helpful Receptionist, carefully listened to the ideas of Sarah Jennings Field Research, and readily agreed to help Henry Gurr find and photograph Sarah’s Old Office.
….In View /\ Above /\, especially notice that the Door Frames are Painted a “Modernized” ~Seashell White, and approximately the same painted hew as the walls. In addition notice the Light Colored Hardwood Flooring (boards parallel to the walls), on both sides of the Rug. As you will see in the next photos (May 2016), interior modernization of Bascom Hall was underway: It can be assumed that what is seen /\ Above /\, is an example of what will result.
…AND as you will see in the FOURTH Next Photo Etc => This is in direct contrast to the UN-Modernized Older Parts of Bascom Hall, where 1) The Wooden Doorframes & Other Wood Trim are Varnished Natural Wood, dating back to the original construction of the building. And ….And 2) The flooring is Asphalt Tile, probably dating back to the 1950’s.
