….NOTE: Sarah Jennings (back in 1921-1923), would have seen Bascom Hall and some of the Obviously Older Buildings on Bascom Mall. In addition (according to Excerpt below), she would have seen the Abraham Lincoln Statue, but perhaps with earlier Stone Bases.
….It is unlikely that she saw The Curved Stone Seat BEHIND the Statue, since it appears that this was a much later addition.

…. “The Abraham Lincoln Statue was dedicated in 1909 between North and South Halls, roughly 100 feet away from his current location. It seems the Board of Regents and President Van Hise weren’t in much of a rush to make good on their agreements to Adolph Weinman and the state of Kentucky. It wasn’t until a rededication in 1919 that the proper base was finally affixed. [And apparently moved to its current location.”
