This is the photograph that ran with my column in the Toronto Star, June 26, 2004. The bike is loaded roughly as she'll be when I leave in July, except that my GPS unit, a GPSMAP 76CS loaned by Garmin, is not seen fitted. As well, despite the ButtBuffer gel seating pad you can see on the saddle, I'll be sitting on a sheepskin. I'm not as young as I used to be. Can't quite bring myself to put the windshield back on, though. I'll bet I regret that...
