…AND when Prof Gerber took me to further consult with Amorette Allison (prime-mover of Miles City Presservation.org), Amorette instantly knew her neighbor next door was great fan of ZMM Book.
…After a phone call to him, Joe Whalen of the Miles City Books & News, right away came over to hear about my ZMM research plans. Joe, who aspires to also travel the ZMM Route on his BMW motorcycle, was thrilled to hear about my plans to photograph the sights and scenes of ZMM.
…The next day Joe asked me to pose, wrench in hand by his BMW. His artistic production appears above. He also presented me with a 8.5 x 11 B &W photograph of this same “pose” . SIDE NOTE: Back in Sept 2006, when my son David Gurr & I were in Miles City, MT, we needed an internet connection. We found a really neat little Internet Cafe', which had great coffee and unique wonderful pastries too! (Send email if you want to see the 4 photos I took while there.) Soon after were there, the owner had to close her Café, because it was too hard for her to keep going.
