…Just In Case The Visitor Hasn't Already Got The Point,
……A Bronze Plaque In The Lobby, Discusses How The Nearby University of Iowa’s ”Writing Program”, IS => "A Motel For Contemporary Writing Programs ", Saying =>

“IT HAS IOWA WRITTEN ALL OVER IT."

… "When you travel across the state of Iowa, what do you see, row upon row of crops of corn and soybeans? But there is something else that crows from this fertile land, "mightier than the sword" and "more powerful than the plowshare".. The strong connection our agricultural heritage and our educational system is a tradition that endures in Iowa and is expressed in many forms. Iowa is at the center of writing in America."

…. AND For Henry Gurr, This Translates to => "Iowa Is a State of Mind !!",

…. AND For Henry Gurr => The /\ Above /\ Bronze Plaque Title & Passages, Apply Even More Forcefully To Sarah Winnifred Jennings Vinke.
…As Was Said In An Earlier Photo This Album =>

“We must also remember other influences [on Sarah], due to where and when she grew up: Iowa was then a relatively new pioneering agricultural state founded in 1846, with antislavery abolitionist forces from the start, and thus, the state had a Special State Of Mind. “

….A FIRST Technical Side-Point Re => The PREVIOUS Photo Showing => A Close-Up Of The Giant “Pen Nib” Sculpture.
….This Really Wonderful Sculpture, has a Minor Mis-Representation => The Cylindrical Place on the Pen, where, in real use a person would finger grip, is sculpted about the equal length as the Steen Nib. In Real-Life Steel Tipped Ink Pens, this Cylindrical Part would be at least 10 times longer than the Steel Tip. In other-words, about same length as Current-Day 6 Inch Long, Ball-Point Pens,
….A SECOND Technical (Engineering Science) Side-Point Re => The PREVIOUS Photo Showing => A Close-Up Of The Giant “Pen Nib” Sculpture.
….This Really Wonderful Sculpture, does correctly represent an important feature of all ink pens, whether reed, quill, or steel => From where the pen touches paper, there is a Dark Line running up to a Dark Dot. …. In a real steel nib, the Dark Dot represents where the ink starts to flow down a cut (a slit), represent by the Dark Line. This cut (a slit), in a real ink pen, being narrow, regulates the ink flow to the paper at “just the right speed”
….Also correctly represented in the Sculpture, of the Steel Nib, is its somewhat Curved Cupped Shaped => This “Cup”, helps hold steady a drop of ink, where the ink, can flow into the Dark Dot, and thus then flow evenly regulated, down the cut (a slit), represent by the Dark Line.
